    There are many good universities which provides fashion designing courses like:
    1. IILM University Gurugram
    2. NID
    3. NIFT
    and LPU
    I will advice you to finalise the institute which provides students with extensive input in both the design and technology which is necessary to begin a career in fashion industry. I am not much aware of the above mentioned institutes except LPU as I will share with what I have captured from the Alumni's of the department.     HI Sujeet, I would advise you to appear in an exam of UCEED. You never know when the luck is with you so you must try for NIFD first then after you must have plan B in your hand. In North India one of the premier institutions is a Lovely Professional University it is situated at Jalandhar in Punjab. Believe me, they have developed the habit to produce the students completely industry ready not only in engineering field but in fashion technology too.     Hi, After conducting a lot of research, finally, I come to the conclusion that LPU is the best for fashion design among all these institutes. LPU provides a wide range of programmes and streams with good infrastructure and provides ample opportunities to each and every one of the eligible students to secure good placement.     Fashion design is a form of art. To work as a designer, you should have an artistic and creative personality. You also have to be good at drawing and able to express your ideas in sketches. You don't necessarily have to be a great artist, but you must have some special skills for combining colors, tones and shades.
