    NIT-Trichy is the best college for MCA. One of the most important things is the brand name of NIT.
    Firstly, placement is very good for MCA students, it is generally around 80-90 percent. Top IT companies visit the institute every year.
    Infrastructure: Separate department for MCA students. Unlike most of the other engineering colleges where departments are clubbed. Apart from that 24x7 computer lab facility, which is most important part of an MCA course. Faculties are one of the best and are at par with that of some top engineering institutes.     IITs: Among all IITs only IIT Roorkee offered MCA programme, but from academic year 2014-15 the institute had decided to discontinue this course.
    NITs: The admission to the MCA prgoramme in to NITs is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET exam only, and it is offered in following NITs only:Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.
    NIT colleges ranking for MCA (the list keeps changing each year):
    1. NIT Tiruchirappalli (Trichy)
    2. NIT Surathkal
    3. NIT Warangal
    4. MNNIT Allahabad
    5. NIT Calicut
