I had the same question when I was looking out for college for my B.Tech I was confused between Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and Lovely Professional University Phagwara. But after discussions, thinking, and recommendations from my relatives ( Allummni of LPU) I joined LPU. It was actually a great decision. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for engineering. Different organizations and magazines undertake this survey. Results vary from survey to survey. There are no clear cut answers. However, the best would obviously be IIT's followed by NIT's. But, I would suggest you concentrate on studies and get a higher score to achieve your dreams.
