Best colleges for Pilot training in India.
There are pointers that must be noted before selecting a flying school. It's not like buying vegetables. One would be spending close to Rs.50L for the course and, hence one must decide which college is best. What are these pointers? The aviation sector has boomed in India and the past decade has seen a massive rise in the number of students wanting to become a Pilot. There are many flying schools in India, at least one each in all the major states. I don't think they've been officially ranked or rated, so the best way to decide is to visit their websites. Read the reviews (if any), obtain the telephone numbers of ex-trainees and speak to them and then finally after shortlisting 2 or 3, visit the institute to see the infrastructure and speak to the faculty.

There are many flying clubs in India but not many provide any placement assistance.
# Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy (IGRUA) is government. owned school which trains pilots. It has collaboration with Air India for placements.
# CAE Gondia, Chimes Aviation Sagar, madhya pradesh Flying Club are some premiere schools.
# Some airlines like Indigo and Jet Airways have collaboration with training organisations. They provide complete placement assistance.
