Hi there, First of all, considering the scope of Production and Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing), it is more in mechanical and allied industries, as this branch is very close to Mechanical. At this stage, when Make in India is in full swing, this branch has high scope. Industrial Engineering covers a lot of Management stuff so your value increases hencefold after doing an MBA. Coming to colleges, several IITS like Delhi, Roorkee, have this branch. Moreover Premier Nits like MNNIT Allahabad, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra have this trade. Apart from these, good colleges like BIT Mesra, DTU, PEC Chandigarh, Bits Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Nsit have this branch as well.
