However, one should have distance B.Ed degree from a top university that adds value to their career. Candidates with a distance B.Ed degree can apply for government teaching jobs. Thanks!

Names are as follows: Annamalai University Jamia Millia Islamia Kurukshetra University Note: I give the reference only on basis of friends and family word of mouth. B.Ed is a mandatory course which is required to qualify as a teacher at the primary and secondary level in India. There are various universities which provide the distance learning or correspondence courses for B.Ed but unfortunately, only a few of them are credible. The most credible and renowned institute is Indira Gandhi National Open University or IGNOU. The features of IGNOU include: 1. excellent study packages, that are comprehensive and updated 2. library facility for students 3. there are interactive sessions with the faculty at regular duration to guide in case of doubts 4. tests and review- the performance monitoring element is necessary for distance learning courses as you may lose track very easily. IGNOU has a semester and annual examination for the B.Ed program and feedback is given to all the participants by the regular faculty.

Regular Meetup: They organize regular meetups with their student so that they can meet with their fellow students and teacher to get more information about their course. Easy Admission: There is no strict rule for admission. Admission in IGNOU is quite easy than other colleges. Low fee structure: There is no high fee structure which a normal student cannot afford it. Their fee is quite reasonable.
