Chandigarh University does promote a research-oriented culture. They have  faculty involved in various research projects, and boast over 10,000 publications in academic journals. While it is a relatively young university, it has demonstrably active research programs. It is the number one private University of India as per QS World University Rankings 2024 and QS Asia University Rankings 2024.
