Some of the best colleges for UG in Chemistry are St. Stephen's College, Miranda House, Hindu College (all under Delhi University), Presidency University (Kolkata), Loyola College (Chennai), and Fergusson College (Pune). They offer strong faculty, good labs, and great career opportunities after graduation.

When it comes to pursuing general degrees studying in central universities is more valuable. The IITs like IIIT banglore, IIT bombay, IIT madras and IIT karangpur provide B.Sc chemistry .Other notable institutes for B.Sc chemistry are Delhi University, Banarus hindu University, jamia millia islamia, jadavpur University. Getting an degree from a central universities is comparatively more valuable than getting a degree from a normal college.
