First, I am going to mention all the IIMs. IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Indore, Shillong I. e ABCLIKS (these form the old IIMs). These are the IIMs that are performing the best at present. IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Trichy, Kashipur, Udaipur (these form the new IIMs). These are relatively new as compared to the older IIMs, but are catching up fast under their guidance. IIM Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Bodh Gaya, Amritsar, Sambhalpur, Sirmaur, Jammu (these form the baby IIMs). The best ones are the IIMs. Different IIMs have different cut-offs for preliminary selection. The more CAT score always will help you to get into IIMs irrespective of the category. Prepare well. Best wishes.
