Every university offers different types of courses in interior design. It really depends on which university you choose to study. Speaking from my personal experience, I studied at Chandigarh University, and it was a great journey.
At Chandigarh University, they offer a Bachelor of Design (Interior)

Courses are available with focuses in commercial, residential or institutional design, giving students the option to choose their desired path.
So according to your area of interest you can choose any of them.
