    You have already been replied about a variety of career options available after 12th but I know how confusing it is to select one field that's why I would like to give my suggestion on that. I think one should seriously consider current market forces and industry trends before choosing a career field as this is what matters in the end of completion of a course. I feel hospitality and tourism sector has huge potential considering the fact that the Prime Minister himself is stressing on tourism in and out of the country.     Business Economics
    Labour Economics
    Development Economics
    Natural Resource Economics
    Econometric
    Rural economics and Rural Development
    Financial Economics
    Welfare Economics

    Anjali, Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly.
