Hi Stella, Biotechnology combines biology and technology by wrapping a wide range of subjects like agriculture, animal husbandry, biochemistry, bio-statistics, cell biology, chemistry, crop management, cropping system, ecology, engineering, genetics, etc and its aimed at improving the biological systems. Students who wish to pursue biotechnology after graduation they hey have an option to do research too as biotechnology is one of the most emerging fields of study.
