IIT's and NIT's are the best government institutes for engineering in India.

For engineering, the best Engineering College are IITs, NITs, IIITs, DTU, IIT BHU etc. You can go for any one of them. Also, IISC Bangalore is also an good option for engineering. It depends on your score and marks by which you can get admission. You have to clear JEE Mains and advance for admission
