Which are the best government colleges to pursue B.Tech?

IIT, NITS and IIITs are the best government institutes to pursue engineering. In order to seek admission in these institutes, you are advised to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE is an all India common engineering entrance examination of objective pattern, which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. It is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests. JEE consists of two parts, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Advance is for admission in IITs, while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to NITs, IIITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Only the students selected in JEE Mains are eligible to appear for JEE advanced. The eligibility criteria to appear or JEE is class 12th with PCM subjects. Every state has also government funded state engineering college. Admission to these colleges differ in each state.
