    Many government colleges offer best placement record in engineering.
    Here are the few best government engineering colleges which offer best placement record in the recent years:
    1. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur- Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT-K), Kharagpur was established in 1950 at Hijli.     There are ample of colleges in India for pursuing engineering and lacs of students are graduating every year some with great jobs while some with small or no jobs, all depending on the knowledge and caliber of the student. The topmost colleges of India providing great placements are as follows:

    The government colleges are better than the private colleges/universities in many aspects like fees, accreditation and reputation though some say that private colleges are better.The primary thing is that the government colleges are affordable.
    There are many government colleges that have taken place in the top rankings of the engineering colleges.
    Firstly, the IITs, NITs would come as they are under the central government as well as have a higher reputation than most of the Indian colleges.

    The National institutional ranking framework uses all the parameters like infrastructure, research, placement etc. to rank the colleges. I will try to rank government engineering colleges according to their placement:

    Naming the best colleges with the placements may not really be the right approach as all the colleges have different placements dependent on the course, location and the reputation they have built over time.
    The popular government engineering college across India has had a stellar placement record. With the top offers as well as average offers surpassing several private engineering colleges.
