There's no one answer to this question. There are quite a few good CAD training institutes available; both government. And Pvt. Government. Institutes include MSME Tool Rooms, MSME Development Institutes, CITD (Hyderabad), CIPET, ECIT, courses offered by some reputed government Colleges like COEP (Pune). Private players include CADD Centre, Engineers' CADD Centre, CADCAM Guru (Pune), etc. Some of these institutes have centres in different states/cities. Eg. MSME Tool Rooms, MSME this, ECIT, CADD Centre, CIPET. The quality of training differs for different centres of the same institute. Also, the faculty at these institutes keep changing frequently, since anybody having good command on any CAD software will fetch a much higher salary package in industry than they'd ever get at any of these training institutes. Thus, they jump to industry at the very first opportunity ! This implies, that an institute which is excellent for, say, CATIA training now, may not be so good a few months down the line, once the core faculty resigns (and as I said, this happens more frequently than you would imagine!). Anybody can start teaching a CAD/CAM software, after reading few PDFs from internet and some practice, but if you really want to be damn good at any CAD software package, make sure that the training institute you choose - I) has faculty/trainers having industry experience of working on CAD/CAM/CAE projects and ii) offers opportunity to work on industrial projects as a part of training. Ideally, the training institute should also be offering consultancy to industry. Such institutes will always have some ongoing industry project, which would be the richest source of learning and practice for you !

There are a number of domain specific tools in CAE. I am qualified to answer on structural analysis domain since that's my area of work. Preprocessing - Hypermesh or Ansa Solver - Abaqus, Ansys, Optistruct, Nastran, Patran, Radioss etc. A number of commercial codes are available. If I had a chance to go back in time and work on my skillset I would thoroughly learn Hypermesh first, since its the most widely used preprocessor. For solver, I would recommend Abaqus, one of the best and versatile code for design analysis considering the fact that you already have a touch of CATIA and Abaqus also belongs to the same family, Dassault Systems.

This auto cad center is good to learn new software in the field of civil and mechanical. And the teachers are so supportive. You can have the good environment in the center. Thank you. I have to say the instructor did a great job teaching this course. He presented the material with great knowledge and handled questions very effectively. We enjoyed taking this course and look forward to taking more. The instruction and hands-on training were extremely useful, educational, and informative. I enjoyed the lab exercises and feel much improved with my CATIA skills after each training session. I will be able to put all the training I received to good use in the day-to-day tasks of my job. The instructor did an excellent job assisting, and managing our classroom time and lab exercises. Couldn't be more pleased with this experience and I look forward to more Live Remote training. I wanted to mention that my instructor was excellent. He kept the CATIA training interesting and was very thorough. He has placed the bar very high. I am sure my next instructor will have a tough act to follow. Thank you again. Everything is good in this Canter Cadd. Teachers are very supportive and talented. This cad and staad both software are Very useful for learning. And most important part is placement. I got it. Thanks to all faculty. The faculty is well educated and know what they teach.
