Hi Nakul, Apart from direct admission part, I think LPU will make perfect sense here, if you can avail the highest scholarship slab of 40% on programme fee. You can avail it in basis of your performance in LPU NEST score in previous two qualifications, sports, defense and Covid-19 frontline scholarships. If you are able to secure the highest slab I. e 40% then your fee would be 58800 per semester I. e. about 4,70,000 for full duration, hostel fee will be roughly 240000 and mess fee would be roughly 140000 for all four years of programme ! This makes about 8,50,000 which is totally in your budget! Coming to admission, It is strictly based on LPU NEST you can however appear for the exam later after taking the provisional registration. LPU has a stellar record in placements over the last decade or so, with over 600 companies visiting the campus and about 60 of them offering over 10 lacs per annum. Hope this helps DVD.

Addressing your query, LPU is the right option to think upon which offers programme that too at scholarship. One of my friend took admission last year in LPU and she told that LPU offers scholarships on the following basis: 1. Previous marks (last two) 2. LPUNEST 3. Sports, Co-curricular activities 4. Defence This year LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. She told that there are three slabs of scholarship which vary on the caliber of the student and changes with the phase /date of admission. So, earlier you plan, better will be the scholarship. So, I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest or maximum by 30-6-2020.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.
