As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of the 2012 batch. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. 1 Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 20202021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lacs Per annum (CSE) DURING 20192020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA.

LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test, defense personnel or CAPF dependents and many more. Whichever will be the best applicable that will be reduced from the fees of every semester. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester. For B.Tech Computer Science programme the fee per semester is 98000 from which the scholarship amount will be reduced every semester. Hostel Charges depend upon the type of hostel room, you opt for. University offers room from 1 to 6 seater and even dormitory and further AC and Non AC option as well. The fees of hostel depends upon which seater and with which facilities you are availing, based on that the cost can be analysed. For more details you may visit the website of LPU.

Apart from direct admission part, I think LPU will make perfect sense here because direct admission is available for students who score upwards of 90% in 12th. You can avail the highest scholarship slab of 35% on programme fee. You can avail it in basis of your performance in LPU NEST score in previous two qualifications, sports, defense etc. If you are able to secure the highest slab I. e 35% then your fee would be 63700 per semester I. e. about 509000 for full duration, hostel fee will be roughly 220000 and mess fee would be roughly 140000 for all four years of programme ! This makes about 8,50,000 which is totally in your budget! Coming to admission, It is strictly based on LPU NEST you can however appear for the exam later after taking the provisional registration. LPU has a stellar record in placements over the last decade or so, with over 700 companies visiting the campus and about 70 of them offering over 10 lacs per annum. 20th September is important date to remember, as after that these scholarships may be reduced or even be phased out.
