BITS Pilani is the best private autonomous university in the North India. It is ranked 6th in All India ranking with International recognition and has extremely good placement records.

Hello Ashish, There are a number of good private colleges in North India which provide quality education and placements. Mentioning all of them won't be feasible. It depends on the branch of engineering you wish to pursue and the state where you wish to pursue engineering.
