    Hi,
    First of all, D.Ed holds a lot of importance for the aspirants who're passionate about getting into teaching field. Let's begin with the colleges that offer D.Ed:

    D.Ed, B.Ed and M.Ed are different courses, unless mentioned in Special Education", are considered regular courses done to teach the regular children in the mainstream schools. If it is special education, it would be mentioned as D.Ed in special Education, B.Ed in Special Education or M.Ed in Special Education. Amity University offers the best facilities and training in this course.

    Diploma in Education is for students who have cleared their class 12th and want to make career in teaching field. By doing this course candidates become eligible to teach in elementary schools.
    Here are few top universities/colleges for D.Ed in India:
    1. Banaras Hindu University BHU
    It is one of the best universities in India since 1916. This university has the best faculty members and good management team which takes care of the students. This is the biggest residential university in Asia.

    D.Ed is known as Diploma in Education which is a Diploma course that qualifies intermediates as nursery teachers in kindergartens. The eligibility criterion to pursue D.Ed course in India is Higher Secondary exam (class 12th) from a recognized board or equivalent. You may have to clear an entrance exam for seeking admissions all over India

    The best colleges for Diploma in Education (D.Ed) are:
    MCT College of Education and Research
    Vidhya Sagar College of Education
    Acharya College of Education
    Bombay Teacher's Training College
    However, it is suggested to pursue B.Ed for great career opportunities. D.Ed is a good course to give you a knowledge and perspective about education and teaching methodologies.
    But, I would never recommend any candidate to pursue D.Ed alone. It will take you nowhere. The greater job openings are at higher level. Lectureship position and teachers in primary and secondary schools are widely accepted.
