Which are the best universities in India to pursue PG?

I have completed graduation from Calcutta University with Honours in English in the year 2015 and scored 43.5% marks. I have searched for PG courses in several colleges, unfortunately, my marks in graduation turn out to be the biggest bar in the admission for PG courses.

Sorry, but with 43.5% in graduation, you would not be able to get admission in good colleges. Major reputed universities have a high percentage criteria for graduation which is around 50% and above.
