Chandigarh University is the best option for CSE engineering, due to good placement record, experience teacher, maintaining, and infrastructure.

In my opinion, Thapar University will be the best to pursue CSE. As it is among the best private colleges in India. It's the faculty members, placement and exposure are outstanding. So, if you are getting Thapar for B.Tech in CSE, you should not leave it.
