    Hello dear, As per the UPSC IAS Age Limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 32 years as of the 1st of August, 2023 I. e. , the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991, and not later than 1st August, 2002. The Civil Services Examination is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to higher Civil Services of the Government of India. No, the Commission do not mention any Minimum Qualifying Marks for the General Studies Paper 1. But there is a criteria of Minimum 33 % for the General Studies Paper 2 (Aptitude) paper.

The IAS Prelims exam is conducted offline in the pen and paper mode. There is no sectional cutoff in the IAS prelims exam because the number of questions from a section is not fixed and they vary year to year.
