Hi. Ph.D. Science is a 3 to 5 years doctorate level course, which students from M.Sc. Or M.Tech background can pursue. It involves researching any one of the Science specialisations like Physics Chemistry Biology etc. The student will have to submit the research thesis at the end of the course to earn the Ph.D. Science degree. The minimum eligibility required for admission to Ph.D. Science course is a minimum 55% marks at postgraduate level. The students are sometimes admitted directly after graduation but they must have exceptional academic and research history. The admission process to Ph.D. Science courses is based on the entrance exam followed by the interview (in written if necessary) conducted in a month before a semester.
