Tourism & travel management is a full time course.
Since tourism industry is the fastest growing service industry there is increased employment opportunities.
Increased demands for specialized form of tourism such as medical tourism, pilgrimage tourism & gastro tourism.

If you are not interested in engineering you should discontinue with it as you are not serious and don't have a like for it and yes, if you feel you should go with your interest as that will make you happy.
