Which are the engineering exams to give after doing BE? I am currently doing mechanical engineering.

GATE is the top level exam. You can attempt to pursue higher studies or for placement in PSUs. There are some other exams as well, but they are mostly niche and many. It would be better to choose one according to your interests.
