GATE is a national level examination for admissions to M Tech and is valid all over the country. Tamilnadu conducts TANCET for admissions to state engineering colleges in Tamilnadu. Similar practice is being observed in Karnataka and AP. PGCET scores are valid in engineering colleges in the state. S

for higher education in civil engineering in india you can written GATE, and if you want to go abroad for higher study then you can written GRE and TOEFL.
