Hello,
First learn the basics of aptitude. For building the concepts, RS Aggarwal is a book that you can refer to because CAT is all about knowing the concepts. Also, Arun Sharma's books contain all the CAT concepts and you can solve previous year's question papers for its preparation. -

1st preference:
I. Pearson guide to quantitative aptitude and data interpretation by Nishit Sinha.
II. Pearson guide to verbal ability and logical reasoning by Nishit Sinha.
2nd preference:
I. Books from TMH and books from Arihant.
Books to read (Fiction / non-fiction):
1. The Great Indian Novel.
2. India after Gandhi.
3. Midnight's Children.
4. Argumentative Indian.
5. The Last Mughal.
These books will help you with GD/PI preparation as well.
