Which are the good branches in terms of teaching and placements?

    In terms of teaching, all the branches are same. Any branch you go for will have a combination of conceptual and "mugging up" topics. Amount of each may vary with the branch little bit. For placements there are different criteria. For we know coding jobs pay you high starting salaries. Where as core branches have lower packages comparatively. But more or less it depends on your talent and knowledge. If had to, i would rank branches in decreasing order of starting salaries CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, MECH, rest. And in decreasing order of percentage of placements CSE, (IT - MECH), (ECE - EEE), rest. Of course this is the scenario I am familiar w
