    All time IIT are the best colleges for B.Tech. There are many colleges like:
    IIT Mumbai
    IIT Chennai
    IITKolkata
    IIT Kanpur

    Hello Shalini,
    There are good private colleges all over India providing quality education and placements. It depends on the branch of engineering you wish to opt for and in which state you wish to pursue the same because all colleges may not provide same quality education and placements for all branches of B.Tech.
