I would suggest Manipal Institute of Technology. It has a really learned Mechanical faculty. It is even said that Mechanical faculty is equivalent to many IIT's and NIT's. You have not mentioned your score. But any where try for a college giving you the best academic facilities like platform, faculty, workshops etc. Try for such a good univ like RV, LPU, RAI etc

There are many good institutes for doing ME. Apart from IITs and NITs you can look forward in:
1. College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai
2. Jadavpur University, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Kolkata
