Hi Arvind,
There are many colleges which offer a good placements. To name a few, IIMs, IMI Delhi, MDI Guragon, SP Jain, XLRI, TISS, FMS, NMIMS, IMT Ghaziabad etc. are some of the few colleges you can look at for your post graduation. The information about a college's placements is available on its website. So you might want to look at at it to get a more specific and comprehensive information.
MBA (Master's in Business) is a master's degree offered by UGC approved universities and is a typically 2 years full-time course. PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a diploma issued by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) recognized institutions. PGPM is an award program and not a degree; and is not an AICTE recognized course. It is not offered by an AICTE approved institution.
The curriculum of MBA course is more inclined towards offering theoretical knowledge while PGDM programs offer students with greater industrial exposure. Almost all institutes offer PGDM. MBA may lag behind a little in terms of teaching methodologies, since it's not updated very soon. However, both are popular choices, and depending upon your inclination, you may choose either. There is not much difference.
A Post Graduation in MBA offers many specializations- Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, Strategy etc, and it really depends on your interest. All the specializations have a high demand from the perspective of the industry, although finance and marketing are more popular and have more job prospects. Many courses (general MBA) allow you to get a taste of all subjects in your first year, so you can chose a specialization in the second year, based on your interest and aptitude. You may even opt for dual specialization.
I hope I have resolved all your queries.
