    Chemistry has a high practical application skills in various dimensions of fields offered in today's world it makes you well-equipped to be able to fetch a decent job in various scientific and chemical based pharmaceuticals industries pharmaceutical companies are one of the most ever growing sectors in today's world you can apply for various post in the department of analytical chemistry, nuclear chemistry, organic chemistry in daily life and food chemistry as scientist. Also Professorship in the field of chemistry has a vast scope in fields of Teaching in colleges and various affiliated fields.

    Some lucrative prospects in the field of chemistry (some of them might need an additional post graduation degree) would be -

    (1) Nuclear Engineering - Initially the pay might not be that great, but nuclear scientists are few and in demand

    (2) Environmental Consultant - jobs with big utility companies and semi private sector

    (3) Patent attorney - a lucrative position with the big pharma companies.

    (4) Nanotechnology - again few people in the world have specialisation in this, so experts would be in demand from IT sector (Internet of things).
