Girijananda Choudhary Institute of Technology, Jorhat Engineering College, NIT-Silchar, IIT-Guwahati and Assam engineering institutes are good college for engineering in Assam.

IIT, NIT, CIT are the central ones. JIST, BBEC, BVEC are state ones. KU, Royal, DBU, NITS, DiBru university, ghy university and GIMT are recognised Pvt and semi Pvt ones.
