    There is nothing like an important topic for the preparation. You have to go with complete preparation for the exam. There are a number of exams conducted in India for the MBA type courses. Exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, IBSAT, NMAT, SNAP, etc. have some minor tweaking and variations apart from the main sections. Each of these exams has quantitative aptitude, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning and data interpretation, apart from GK or essay writing section in some of the exams.     By the way of introduction, I am an alumnus of IIM-Indore (2016 Batch).
    I would like to answer this question in a different way, apart from the regular important syllabus topics which can be easily understood by solving practice papers and past year papers, other very important topics are to focus on your self. How to prepare for the paper is the most important topic according to my personal experience.

    The IBSAT is being conducted over a period of two weeks. There are four slots per day. The IBSAT 2016 test comprises of140 questions. The total duration of the test was 120 minutes.
    1. Verbal Ability A
    Meaning of idiom/phrase, synonyms of the word, one-word substitute of the given phrase, jumbled paragraph, word analogy.
    2. Reading Comprehension

    IBSAT is an online management aptitude test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. The test scores are used for admission to MBA and PhD programs of nine ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
