Hi, The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design UCEED is a newly framed entrance examination. It was first introduced by IIT Bombay in the year 2015. Since UCEED has recently been introduced, candidates tend to get stressed while preparing for the examination. And now, since the examination is expected to be held in January, 2017, very little time is left for the aspirants to prepare for the same. But, with a focused mind and proper strategy, candidates can ace the examination.nYou can refer to this great article by Shiksha for details on this entrance exam:nhttps://www.shiksha.com/design/articles/10-do-s-and-don-ts-for-u

Problem-solving, analytical and logical reasoning, language and creativity are the topics which are common in every design entrance exam but in UCEED one needs to focus more on the subjective part that is the drawing. Not only the sketching part or the creativity but one needs to work with visual skills that is to visualise a given 2D figure into 3D and sketch it, for example. With something new, innovative sketch it depends on the question that the sketch needs to be meaningful or it should depict a story or anything else. The major focus should be on the drawing part.
