    Getting into a college which aligns to your personal objectives is necessary. Majority of government institutions don't have good infrastructural facility. and moreover, these days getting into a reputed private institutions has become very difficult. You should not focus only merely getting into NITs and State Universities as now private universities across the country offers same recognition as these government institutions. You should plan an overall package which includes good accommodation facility, good learning infrastructure (for eg live classrooms), sporting facilities and accessibility to major towns and cities.

    It all depends on the cut-off marks allotted by cbse board.I think the cutoff will be around 115.BTW you have secured very good percentage in your boards,so if you do not get a seat in nit's then go for some well reputed deemed university.
