Apart from IITs, for engineering, NITs are the other best colleges for sure. But there are several good colleges and universities also like BITS and Jadavpur University. All the very best. Choose wisely.

Next to IITs, you have the NITs spread all across the country. Then you have all the central Universities as well as state Universities. You have BITS, VIT, SRM, DTU, etc. too.

To add to this, there are some govt. institutions like NPTI, IISER, CPRI, etc. mainly for electrical engineering. And, SAT exam for abroad.
