I am sharing few points which will help you to take decision:- Students participates in campus and out campus competitions are held frequently. Hands-on experience on Low Construction Techniques, IGBC Student organisation activities etc. Innovative Pedagogy: Emphasis on case studies and Case based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Co-Curricular & Extra Curricular Activities: Students participates in campus and out campus competitions are held frequently. Hands on experience on Low Construction Techniques, IGBC Student organisation activities etc. Students are taken to educational tours to complement in-class learning. B.Arch and Diploma students gained an exciting learning experience through Tool House Workshop in Mumbai and, a guided trip to Sanchi Stupa in Madhya Pradesh. Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to academic life. Educational field visits proposed to understand different architectural styles. Mughal Architecture, Sikh Architecture, South Architectural style. Hi Architecture is a course with focus on application oriented teaching with live architecture design projects, extensive model and field work LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. In LPU the students are exposed to real site situations through in house and external visits for visual orientation. Manual as well as computerized designing skills. Emphasis is given on the Entrepreneurship projects/Consultancy projects which give cutting edge to the students of the University. The department has the distinction of being approved NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) test centre of Council of Architecture, New Delhi. The LPU final year batch 2005 have won 9 prizes in the national tech fest at IIT, Roorkee The department has hosted the Zonal NASA (National Association of Student Architects) convention within four years of the department's existence LPU students have acquired niche positions in the government and non government sectors. The scholarship slabs offer a hassle education. The recent covid scholarship is another initiative of LPU to aid education in such grim covid times.
