The various areas of Fashion design industry in which you can opt for a degree program or a diploma are: Accessory & Jewelry Design, garment designing, leather design, interior design, Textile Technology, Textile Design, Footwear design & allied subjects.

You need to appear for NIFT exam. If you are unable to pass this exam then you have option of joinning private institues in this field such as "Peral".
