    Physics, chemistry, and maths are required for the joint entrance examination.

    The main thing is that how many marks can fetch you a NIT. 180 marks can get you any NIT with lower branches. If you want to get top 5 NITs, then you need to score 200+ marks.

    The paper consists of 30 questions each of mathematics, physics and chemistry. You get 4 marks for the correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for wrong answer. You need to study mathematics, physics and chemistry.
