As an initial measure, think of your Math and English proficiency. As the first step, they strengthen you a lot in getting a firm foothold in teaching. Your commitment to the profession also gets you a good patronage. Verify whether you have an aptitude for teaching and then your success is assured. There may not be recognized short term courses for a regular teaching job.The exception is getting a training in Nursery.
