    Government-led design institutes like NID, NIFT are great to pursue design. But they have extremely limited seats and very little innovation has been done in all these years. Then there are private institutions that have diverse courses but cost a fortune to study at. Their placements do not guarantee that you will be able to redeem your tuition costs even within 5 years. Some of the new and upcoming universities, like the Institute of Design at JK Lakshmipat University, would Sonepat, Anant National University, Avantika University are looking at innovative ideas, charging reasonable tuition fees and giving a host of opportunities.     The top government design colleges are NID, NIFT and FDDI. Under private, Pearl Academy, Symbiosis Institute of Design, Industrial Design Center IIT Mumbai), International Institute of Fashion Technology, Arch Academy and many more.
