    In the list of the top 20 or top 30, most of the colleges are from Ghaziabad side only and then some are from Agra, Kanpur and Lucknow. The topmost colleges are JSS-Noida, KIET-Ghaziabad, AKG-Ghaziabad, ABES-Ghaziabad and then some from Kanpur like PSIT.

    Top private colleges under UPTU are : J. S. Academy of Technical Education, Noida. Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology [ IERT], Allahabad. Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida. ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad (U. P). Krishna Institute Of Engineering And Technology [KIET], Ghaziabad (U. P)
