B.Tech Lateral Entry is mainly for those student who wants to study B.Tech after her diploma in any of the branch. Through Lateral entry any student can directly take admission in the 2nd year B.Tech in a branch from which he has done their diploma. IIT does not have any provision of getting admission for lateral entry. But many government and private college give chance to get admission. Admission Processes:- LEET is a exam conducted by many states for giving admission through lateral entry and also many private engineering college take their own exam such as KIIT University Eligibility Criteria:- Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in relevant stream from a recognized board with minimum 60% marks. Age must be less than 25 Year according to certificate.
