2. NITs
3. IIITs

It depends on streams. Likewise for engineering, IITs and NITs are topmost, IIMs and many others for management. For degree courses there are ample number of reputed colleges there in different cities. Delhi univ, pondicherry univ, bhu, jamia, jadavpur univ, calcutta univ to name a few among others.
