Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years. India is predominantly a agrarian country. Therefore the scope for agriculture is like evergreen. Agriculture studies refers to the classification of topics related to commercial cultivation and different areas of income which farmers can generate. It refers to the production of goods through the growing of plants and fungi and the raising of domesticated animals. The study of agriculture is known as agricultural Science. The related practice of gardening is studied in horticulture. The duration of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is four years. LPU has over the years made a big name for itself on back of unmatched performance in developing industry consulted curriculum, software and technology trainings, massive state of the art infrastructure and placements. The course offered by different departments (theoretical and practical) is taught to the students on credit basis.
