I have scored 32 marks in JEE Mains, 8.8 CGPA in class 10th and 57% in HSC.

SRM University, Chennai KTR campus is better for all engineering courses. So you may prefer SRM University, Chennai (main campus alone) for mechanical engineering. You need to have cleared SRMJEE exam with a good rank or else you need to go for management quota.
