Which are the top colleges to pursue mechanical engineering?

My cut-off is 198 (HSC).

    If you are seeking in India then go for IITs and if abroad then there are lots of universities. You can also take BITSAT.

    Hi Senthil,
    Mechanical engineering is the evergreen branch of engineering and it has plethora of opportunities and scope in future as well. Therefore, all most every engineering colleges/universities offers and are focused on this course. Here are few colleges/Universities which is really worth pursuing mechanical engineering from:
    #UTM Shillong (Campus of MIT Pune)
    #BITS Pilani
    #IIT Kharagpur
    #LPU, Punjab
    #IIT Kanpur
    #NIT Trichy
    #Amity University, Delhi
    You can pursue mechanical engineering from any of these colleges, but in my opinion UTM Shillong is a better option as they provide better industry exposure and hands-on training. If you want m
