    GCET Bikaner, IIT Jodhpur, MNIT Jodhpur, MBM Engineering college,
    Rajasthan Technical Universty-Kota are some well-known government colleges with decent placements, however, private colleges have certain distinction over placements and support in international offers.
    BITS-Pilani is best private colleges overall government colleges in Rajasthan. Only IIT Jodhpur can be preferred and equivalent with BITs Pilani.

    Hello,
    Rajasthan has lots of colleges. Yes, Govt engineering colleges. Almost every district headquarters has one! Students is actually spoiled for choices. And this is not counting IIT/ NIT /IIIT.
    Rajasthan is actually hub of huge educational activities. Kota has become famous throughout India for churning out successful candidates for admissions in IIT's and NIT's. This throws up a large number of candidates who miss getting into IIT and then try to get into colleges of Rajasthan.

    Some of the best engineering colleges according to my viewpoints are as follows:
    1. Indian Institute of Technology- Jodhpur
    2. Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur
    3.Rajasthan Technical University, Kota
    You may prefer for IIT-Jodhpur but any of the above colleges are better than the private colleges.
